All networks ready Streme can work flexibly over intranet/internet and in disconnected data transfer modes. Virtually all network modes are covered, making streme work in your environment, securely.
Intranet Connectivity Options
Here players and the manager are on the corporate intranet. Intranet could be setup as a combination of local area networks, wide area networks, RF Links, Leased Lines, VSAT links and so on.
Internet Connectivity Options
This mandates the manager and the players to have periodic access to internet. Access can be configured using, leased lines, dialup links, wireless links as found suitable for the installation. Internet access can be confined in GPRS & CDMA modems making a anytime, anywhere deployment possible.
Disconnected options
There are some locations where network connectivity is not possible or is not permitted. In these cases, content from the manager downloaded to a USB pen drive.When the pen drive is attached to the players, content is automatically updated. USB pen drive can be removed and taken away.
File Transfer
An optional File Transfer Protocol server can be setup within the corporate intranet to enable all players to download content at a periodic frequency. This centrally managed server, typically hosted in a data centre, provides high uptime guarantees and optimized bandwidth utilization. In this scenario, the manager uploads the content to the FTP Server.
Local or central control
Administration control can be provided centrally or locally for each office/store/location. All Streme layouts, content etc. resides centrally at manager machine over a wide area network.
